Maybeboard

The game plan of this deck is pretty simple. Set up an infinite sacrifice loop and drain everyone out with aristocrats. Not a new game plan for Tayam, but Tayam opens up a few additional lines and some ways to get value along the way.

Finishers

Kitchen Finks - Finks can be sacrificed an infinite number of times When combined with y sac outlet and either Cathars' Crusade, Good-Fortune Unicorn or Bloodspore Thrinax. An aristocrat on board with this wins immediately. However, those death triggers can also be used with Caller of the Claw to generate a huge board.

Tayam requires a creature that can be resurrected to produce at least 3 mana and 3 counters each time. The simplest answer is Caller of the Claw or Hallowed Spiritkeeper along with either Ashnod's Altar or Phyrexian Altar. This requires either additional counter support (Cathars' Crusade, The Ozolith, etc) or enough tokens to still use vigilance counters to resurrect the initial creature.

Other lines with Ashnod's Altar can use anything that can generate extra bodies such as Abzan Ascendancy or Renegade Rallier. These lines will typically require strong counter support.

Priest of Gix may also be used to generate mana. However, because it is mana-neutral, it also requires Illusionist's Bracers on Tayam to go infinite. Devoted Druid is mana neutral with +1/+1 and can go infinite with at least +4/+4 and other counter support.

Digging

There are lots of ways to get deeper into the deck:
- Skullclamp can act as a both a sac outlet and draw engine
- Eladamri's Call can be looped with Eternal Witness to fetch multiple combo pieces
- Buried Alive can put a combo in the yard, then activated with Living Death, Eerie Ultimatum or Rally the Ancestors

TODO

  • The mana base is a bit of a mess. The deck is short green mana and could probably use a little more ramp at 2 CMC
  • The Ozolith is too good not to include due to its nice interaction with Devoted Druid. That's the #1 card that should come in from the board.
