Simic Ad Naus - Manabond, Scapeshift, and Splendid Reclamation all operate as approximations of Ad Nauseam under Tatyova, just with life gain instead of life loss.

Any land to hand engine + any land into play creature + Retreat to Coralhelm draws the deck. Paradox Engine often does the same.

Kill with Sunscorched Desert or beatdown after Words of Wind or Stasis lock. For style points you could can always kill your opponents with Jace's Archivist + Words of Wind (replacing all your draws with bounces that can't be interacted with).

Tatyova herself provides incredible value. All the typical Amulet Bloom games with Simic Growth Chamber bouncing itself not only net the per cycle, but draw a card and gain a life too. Fetches draw two cards. Lotus Cobra obviously does lots of work as well.

Speaking of Amulet Bloom, Mirage Mirror, Phyrexian Metamorph, and Copy Artifact have lots of interesting utility points, but are mainly included as extra copies of Amulet of Vigor. It can't be overstated just how much impact these make when combined with the Root Maze effects in the list:

  • Just Amulet of Vigor in play -> provides benefit for a handful of use cases (Simic Growth Chamber, Scapeshift, etc).
  • Just Root Maze in play -> everyone is sad.
  • Root Maze and Amulet of Vigor in play -> all your permanents behave as if they enter untapped.
  • Root Maze and two Amulet of Vigor in play -> all your permanents effectively get an extra activation upon entering the battlefield. E.g., two taps for Gaea's Cradle, Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, etc.
  • Root Maze and three Amulet of Vigor in play -> all your permanents effectively get two extra activations...
  • etc

Manabond can lead to pseudo-Gitrog combos during your cleanup step if you dump enough lands to draw into grips over seven. (more depth on that later)
