Those are the most expensive additions I can think of.

Doesn't Syphon Mind draw a lot of hate? Wondering if you'd consider substituting with something that could give you an immediate selection, such as Imperial Seal, Beseech the Queen, Grim Tutor, or Dark Petition?

Aren't you more likely to have an immediate power upgrade on Skithiryx (or any Infecter) with Nightmare Lash over Runechanter's Pike?

Wondering if there's any situation where you would run Defense Grid over Infernal Darkness, plenty of ramp so you can still cast your instants and might save you from some counterspells.

Syphon Mind doesn't really draw too much hate because it isn't targeted discard, they get to choose what they lose so people get less upset about it. I would gladly replace it with Imperial Seal or Grim Tutor but I don't have those.

Runechanters Pike has been awesome but maybe I'll try swapping it with Blackblade Reforged. Mathematically speaking Blackblade should work better because I'm running 35 lands and only a combined 24 instants and sorceries. I used to run both Nightmare Lash and Lashwrithe but they were underwhelming. If I didn't have 6 swamps out they weren't a 1 hit kill so the swords work much better in their place since I get protection from 2 colors and 2 benefits when they hit the player.

Honestly Defense Grid is probably the smarter move against control so it doesn't tie up my mana in cumulative upkeep costs but I just enjoy seeing how pissed off people get when I cast Infernal Darkness. It usually just stalls the game a few turns for me to build up for a 1 hit kill.

All praise to Father Yawgmoth what a gorgeous deck! +1 from me. I was wondering what your opinion was on the free C20 cycle? Specifically, Deadly Rollick and how it would fair in your deck. I think it'd be worth experimenting with alongside Lashwrithe. Skittles gaining +1/+1 for each Swamp you control would make a single attack into a guaranteed lethal shot. Probably not necessary but I thought i'd suggest it anyway. I took a look at that custom deckbox as well and it's awesome. Does Turcaut have an etsy store? Or some sort of page where I could browse their wares?

I have put a lot of thought into running Deadly Rollick and I own 2 copies, the only reason I haven't fully decided is because most of my removal is used before casting Skittles but it is so good I am going to take your advice and at least test it out.
