Whenever anybody and their brother builds a mill deck in EDH, they build it around Phenax, God of Deception. Why? Because he's good and mills a lot of people efficiently and at instant speed? Well that's just not a good enough reason for me.

One of the first ways I ever bought Magic cards was by buying the pre-con Dimir deck from Ravnica: City of Guilds and to this day Szadek, Lord of Secrets is one of my favorite cards.

He may not be the most efficiently costed card ever printed. Even in a slower format like commander he's still... not very good. But I love him, dammit! So what better way to make him shine than in a voltron commander deck?

Ramp up, protect your guild lord, and spend a couple of turns ratcheting up his power before decking each opponent in one shot.

My personal record for swinging with Szadek is attacking with a 201/204. Here's hoping that will only go up.
