Maybeboard

Instant (1)

this deck is my initial design for a Sydri, Galvanic Genius deck, and it is my first attempt at a real competitive Commander/EDH deck. Any and all advice would be appreciated!

Win-cons

Basalt Monolith + Power Artifact + Staff of Domination : Infinite colorless mana into draw my deck.

Basalt Monolith + Rings of Brighthearth + Staff of Domination : Same as above.

Darksteel Forge + Mycosynth Lattice + Nevinyrral's Disk : Infinite board wipes

Sydri, Galvanic Genius + Any large artifact: Huge artifact beatdown plan.

Disciple of the Vault + Phyrexian Metamorph + Sharuum the Hegemon OR Disciple of the Vault + Sculpting Steel + Sharuum the Hegemon : I added the Sharuum combo to give the deck a way to win the game on the spot if I need to.

Cool Interaction:

Caltrops + Sydri, Galvanic Genius : Stops attacking creatures in their tracks.

When I first saw the Commander 2013 decks I was first drawn to Derevi, Empyrial Tactician. But as time went on I saw the potential in Sydri, Galvanic Genius for a beastly artifact deck. My goals for the deck are:

Artifacts Only Most of my creatures are artifacts, and so I thought that Soulscour is a very good way to push the Artifacts Only theme. In addition Leonin Abunas, Arcum Dagsson, Filigree Angel, and Master Transmuter are all very good ways to abuse my artifact theme. Thanks to Sydri, Arcum Dagsson basically becomes a tutor for half the artifacts in the deck so he is indispensable. And Tezzeret the Seeker is an obvious inclusion in an artifact deck.

Pseudo-Land Destruction I think the Sydri, Galvanic Genius/Mycosynth Lattice interaction is pretty obvious. I don't want this to be the main theme, but I did put in the Myr Landshaper to help in this regard.

My main questions right now are:

  1. Do I have enough lands? Should I go up to 36-38 or stick to 33?

  2. Are there any cards in the Maybeboard that I should definitely include?
