I'm super excited to show off my Faerie tribal deck for Standard 2020. This new set has been insane and has introduced quite a few new awesome cards that I'm stoked to play. This is a Mono U deck as well, and you could add a splash of White to it as well for some extra synergy, but I think it works well the way it is. However, if you've found a nice combo that works well with other colors, please let me know in the comments!
All of your Faeries will be used offensively but thanks to the introduction to Adventure cards, we have a lot more available to us than just swinging each turn.
Hypnotic Sprite
can be used to counter an opponents spell in a pinch, and
Brazen Borrower
can be used to bounce a creature, enchantment, planeswalker, or artifact back to your opponents hand - a perfect setup to use
Hypnotic Sprite
or
Sinister Sabotage
to get rid of it next time they attempt to cast it.
Fae of Wishes
can be used to grab any non creature card from your sideboard, perfect for snagging the perfect card to help you gain the advantage.
Faerie Vandal
gets buffed each time you draw a second card each turn, which works great with
Opt
,
Faerie Formation
, and especially
Winged Words
. Use
Nightveil Sprite
to surveil and toss anything away you don't need,
Stolen by the Fae
to bounce back troublesome creatures while also making yourself a swarm of 1/1 Faerie's, or use
Flood of Tears
to reset the board, hopefully in your favor. Plus, if you return 4 or more cards to your hand, you can put a permanent from your hand onto the field for free, be it a creature, planeswalker, enchantment, or even a land. Finally, use
Capture Sphere
to lock down an opponents creature at instant speed! Helpful for stopping your opponents offensive capabilities, pushing a blocker out of the way, or getting rid of a creature with an annoying tap ability.

Fae of Wishes
