Challenge for a modern playable deck that costs 5 tix or less on MTG:O Traders.

This one clocks in at $4.81 on the trader with the most expensive cards in the deck being Melira, Sylvok Outcast at $0.75/each and Blasting Station at $0.49/each.

The deck strives to go for an infinite kill using some combination of Persist Creature + Melira + either Station by itself, or a sacrifice outlet in play with either Murderous Redcap to repeatedly sac itself and ping or Altar of the Brood to simply mill them out.

The Time of Needs serve as pseudo 4th through 7th copies of Melira to help with consistency on her piece of the combo. There are then a total of 11 sacrifice outlets between the copies of Viscera Seer Spawning Pit Bloodthrone Vampire and the Blasting Station itself. The seer can help you scry up your needed win-con if you have it + Melira + a persister in play; the Vampire can be a win condition on its own in some cases; and the pit can be a more resilent, colorless outlet.

There are then 12 dedicated persisters in Safehold Elite Rendclaw Trow and Murderous Redcap and then an additional 4 "often" persisters in the Wingrattle Scarecrow who will have persist with more than half your sacrifice outlets innately.

The sideboard has Duress to hate against other combos and/or protect your own combo versus countermagic heavy decks. The Victim of Night could just be Doomblade or Go for the Throat or whatever but I figured the double black to hit virtually every relevant creature in modern would be worth it. Nihil Spellbomb is mostly there to go in against storm and some of the seemingly growing number of dredge decks and you can probably also board against Jund/Junk to deal with Tasigur delve and shrink goyfs. Finally, the Illness is the Ranks is one of the cheapest, most effective SB cards in modern right now in my opinion as there are tons of decks running Lingering Souls and Young Pyromancer as well as the fact it essentially turns off twin combo (0/3 exarch copies don't do much and 1/0 pestermite clones don't even exist).

All in all a very budget modern deck that I'm looking forward to testing out.
