After my recent losses, I scraped back to 2-1-1 in a 13 player tournament.
Round One 2-0 W vs Mardu Burn
W G1: Tight game down to my last 2 pts of life. Attacked him down to 1 life and he was under Eidolon of the Great Revel and killed himself with his would-be lethal Lightning Bolt.
W G2: He drew no gas as I resolved multiple Primal Command to put the game away.
Sb: Ruric Thar, the Unbowed, 2 Walking Ballista, 2 Kozilek's Return
Round Two 1-2 L vs Revolt Zoo
L G1: He got too many attackers out and overwhelmed me with 17 dmg on t3.
W G2: I got a t2 Blood Moon which killed his mana and stopped him cold.
L G3: He got me too low before I stabilized the board so he just burned me out since he couldn't attack into me.
Sb: 2 Walking Ballista, 2 Blood Moon, 2 Kozilek's Return
Round Three 1-1-1 vs UW Control
L G1: Long game and while I got him low, he just had too many answers and eventually locked me out.
W G2: He didn't draw enough answers in time and Blood Moon hampered his mana so he couldn't interact.
D G3: I made a misplay in turns that might've won me the game, but he had countermagic up so it might not have mattered.
Sb: 2 Blood Moon, 2 Dismember, Ruric Thar, the Unbowed, Gaea's Revenge
Round Four 1-0 W vs UW Control
W G1: He didn't draw enough answers and I pressured out a win in a long game. He conceded the rest of the match as it was late already and another control game would be pretty draining. Having just come off a r3 control matchup, I was grateful.
