Soldiers! What is more fun than Soldiers? More soldiers.

More more more soldiers.

I built this deck as a somewhat tribute to the tribe I started my MTG journey many years ago. It was a deck from onslaught; celestial assault. It was a white blue deck, but the love for soldiers was born :) The goal of this deck is to overrun your opponents with as many soldiertokens as possible, while boosting them with flying, +X/+X, vigilance, etc. You should attack as soon as possible with brimaz so you can start the token build up :)

N.B. In our playgroup we don't run infinite combo's as well as no land destruction. So you won't find that here. Also Sol Ring is banned because of 1 very salty player.

Out: 1x Mentor of the Meek - exchanged it for tocasia's welcome; no need to pay mana and it's for mana value 3 or less instead of power 2 or less; with all the buffs the creatures are more likely to have a higher power. 1x Mirror Entity; rather pump my mana into other buffs. This one hardly gave me outs 1x Dictate of Heliod; pretty expensive and i almost never flashed it in. I will use Vanquisher's banner which will give me card draw and +1/+1 and the flowering of the white tree which buffs for +1/+1 and costs 2 white. 1x Silence; Not really valuable. For that one time a player has 'return all attacking creatures to it's owners hand'; i can get more value in I think. And that is where Myrel, shield of argive comes in. A soldier who always silences my opponents during my turn and gives me more tokens when attacking :) 1x Thran Dynamo; i replaced this for more card draw. Idol of oblivion for example, because I often have enough mana, but I run out of cards in my hand. 1x Decree of Justice; bit of a high cycle and X cost. And the flavor for normal cost is not really matching with my deck.

In: 1x Idol of Oblivion; Card draw when I made a token this turn? With Brimaz thats a winnner. 1x Myrel, Shield of Argive; Silence goes out, this one goes in! 1x Vanquisher's Banner; buff my creatures and draw cards when casting soldiers. 1x Boromir, Warden of the Tower; Giving me some control and the sacing is great to get some more survivability 1x Flowering of the White Tree; for 2 white mana a buff and some protection for my brimaz is nice :) 1x Tocasia's Welcome; I really needed some card draw. Let's hope this will add to it.
