So Monoblack is really good in commander.

So are ETB decks.

But Mikaeus doesnt do anything interesting or sparkly, he just sort of sits there.

As it turns out there are only three Black Legendaries that even have an etb,Phage the Untouchable, Maga, Traitor to Mortals, and Gonti, Lord of Luxury

Lets analyse them all:

Phage: No.

Maga: A bit uninteractive and very boring.

Gonti: A deck where you steal other people's spells? HELL YEAH!

So that was my intricate thought process to picking this Commander.

Also Yawgmoth's Will is Legal? I'll take it.

Lord of the Void and Withengar Unbound   are only in here if auto winning with a stupid combo seems unfun at the time, replace them with Sanguine Bond-Exquisite Blood of you're a boring boringo.
