Social Constructs (Oviya Pashiri) *primer*

Commander / EDH* Mono-Green Tokens Trample

Oviya, Sage Lifecrafter isn't a card many of us see across the table--nor on our side of the battlefield either, for that matter. But she can do some spicy stuff, and if you start playing her... your playgroup will fear nothing more than the sight of you pulling your Servo and Construct tokens out.

We should keep most hands with 2-3 lands and a dork. Bonus points if some card draw is in there.

Although our commander is a 1-drop, she really needn't be played on curve unless our lines are locked in for the next several turns. T1 is usually when we'll be deploying our ramp, but several of our mana creatures lie at 2 cmc (I know it's MV now, please don't @ me).

The following few turns are setup, for the most part. we can slide some auras and equipment onto Oviya, we can create some Servos... get creative!

Most of our synergy revolves around Oviya's second line of text, the beautiful Construct tokens. We shouldn't worry about getting a bunch of Servos online to feul massive constructs--if we make enough of them, they'll do the job themselves!

Around the middle of the game, we should slowly start building up a small legion of Contructs. It's pretty easy to get enough, so never fear sacking a few for cards to Life's Legacy or Momentous Fall . We can turn these guys and, um, other-gendered people into a win with something along the lines of Pathbreaker Ibex .

( Instill Energy , although meant for Oviya, works very well on our manadorks--especially supercharged ones such as Ilysian Caryatid . Don't be afraid to use them to just get some extra mana.

All our power-matters spells should be held onto for postcombat if we have one of our Pathbreaker Ibex -esque wincons in play. Nothing feels better than playing Return of the Wildspeaker after swinging after an Overwhelming Stampede and drawing ~30 cards.

The land-animators (landimators?) such as Kamahl’s Will are meant to let us make an even larger Contruct with our commander, but don't forget that they're extra bodies to pump with Dragon Throne Of Tarikr etc.

Llanowar Mentor lets us pitch creatures to guarantee Selesnya Eulogist has stuff to get rid of, if you even aren't sure what to discard a creature is better for that reason.

We don't have very much boardwipe protection ( Heroic Intervention is 10 USD, y'all), so that sort of thing can be a menace. We definitely commit a lot to the board with this deck.
Oviya is a pretty speedy commander, we can get 150+ damage on-board by T7 (one time I got 220... that was fun). Running out of cards in hand definitely sucks, but if we have enough creatures on board our ever-growing number of Constructs put our opponents on a pretty swift clock.
