As soon as I saw Purphoros, Bronze-Blooded, I knew that I needed to build a deck around him. This deck seems exactly like what I want - a Johnny deck that looks from the outside like a Timmy deck. It appears as though it's only going to cheat out big stompy stuff, but it has a surprising amount of depth to it, and I think that this commander, and the deck on a whole, is what I wanted Ilharg, the Raze-Boar to be when that was spoiled. I think that this is a lot more powerful than the Ilharg deck, because it's a lot more nuanced. It's repeatable, it's instant-speed, and it sends cards to the graveyard which turns on graveyard synergies. I think this commander is super fun and puts Purphoros in a better light for commander than the old Purphoros did.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This deck is built using a $30 budget. That price excludes the commander at the moment since he is newly spoiled and costs far more than he will when Theros: Beyond Death releases. However, it may grow to include the commander once he drops to a reasonable price. Regardless, it is built on a budget. This means that suggestions should be made with that in mind. With that being said, I do welcome feedback because I want this deck to be the best it can be, and I definitely don't think I can do that alone. Just keep the budget in mind when making suggestions.

Anyone looking at this online can ignore this, it's only for me since I don't want to accidentally order a card that's already in my collection.
