Banned in her Block constructed this deck is themed after Lin Sivvi, Defiant Hero , and her rebellion in the name of equality.

People often fall under the impression that equality means same treatment for everybody, even if everyone doesn't start from the same place.

For a man there are a wide range of things that you could do that wouldn't bother him at all. He doesn't mind being sexually objectified. Catcalls are kinda nice. If a woman follows a man at night that's okay.

For a woman none of those things would be okay. A woman is constantly being looked at and that gets old. A woman is physically less capable of defending herself just because of the hormones her body produces. She has to deal with an entire culture that is still dealing with the aftermath of the victorian ages.

On the other hand Women are more emotionally mature as a rule. A woman is forever trying not to step on delicate egos with a man, where she would be blunt with a woman. Different weaknesses, different behaviors that take advantage of them.

So in order to be equal we treat men and women differently.

Let me give an example.

As a white player, I cannot draw cards. Sure there are a few color pie breaks. There always exceptions to a rule - but I really have to work to draw more than my allotted one card a turn, where any other color has a cornucopia of options available to them.

As such, if we make the rule for everybody Spirit of the Labyrinth for instance or maybe even Possessed Portal it doesn't affect me nearly as much as it harms everybody else.

Inability to draw doesn't however mean that I'm weaker than my opponent. Card advantage is still possible because I can search for rebels and put them right into play.

So if I make the rules - and then claim we're equal because we're both following the same rules, it might look like equality, but believe me - it's not.

True equality comes when we have different rules for everybody. Each deck, dealt with in a way that sets it on equal footing with every other. The poor given more help than the rich. The experienced player less than the newbie. The unknown given more than the famous. A woman given more than a man.

Our opponent's decks are forever attempting to poke us with their big well equipped commanders. Trying to ruin our lives with swarms of small insipid creatures. Before we can take any real action we must make sure we are safe.

If a Pariah or pariah shield comes into our hand we're good to go. Lin Sivvi, Defiant Hero can find us just the man to wear it. Cho-Manno, Revolutionary

It also goes decently on Task Force especially with Outrider en-Kor as we'll see in a moment.

To improve quality of life we must each get in contact with our Miren, the Moaning Well Devote yourself to a Worthy Cause , spend time in an animal graveyard and Condemn yourself to happiness.

If any of these come to you, you'll need to go get Task Force and Outrider en-Kor target task force with outrider. The damage need not be real, any imagined slight will do. Task force will respond by growing tougher. Continue to do this until satisfied, and then sacrifice for life.

Sunbond Serra Avatar and Cradle of Vitality are helpful here, if you wish not just to prosper, but to take on the patriarchy with a really big hammer.

Power always seeks to further itself. Where white offers equal power to all it's people, black concentrates its power among the few and mighty. Red doesn't have the foresight to try and hold power, but if given it, red will use it dominate those below.

This cannot be tolerated. Fortunately among our network of rebels, stand Lightbringer and Lawbringer fearless Social justice warriors willing to burn it out wherever they find it.

Also in our group we have a few extremists. Feminazis capable of finding black and red in even the most blue and green permanents. Scuttlemutt uses her Distorting Lens help us fight the corruption wherever it spreads.

enter image description here

In the end we will be unique, but equal. The rules will constantly shift to match the bias of power. We will each have our own activation costs and ability to bring new rebels into the world, but we will all be 20/20 cephalid goat gods - and our power will not have gone down due to equality but everyone will have gone up.

It is Mirror Entity that brings us this victory. It is only with mirrors that the patriarchy can truly be smashed.
