Embiggening Xyris, the Writhing Storm is a better draw rate for your {G} than Ancestral Recall for {U}, you smacked your opponent for 7 general damage, and made 7 snakes along the way. Draw and play ramp until your fingers fall off, so you can cast ALL those cards you're drawing at a higher velocity than your opponent can, and crush them with tempo, tokens, a 12/15 doublestrike trample Xyris, drive your enemies before you, and hear the lamentations of their women. This deck only has 10 cards over 3 mana that don't have an alternate cost.

Downside is they're also drawing, but that's what makes this deck fun. We have countermagic and nuggets like Vines of Vastwood that fulfill multiple roles. Make sure you have mana open going into your big Xyris swing to keep up interaction.

3 hand size enablers with Wizard Class, Reliquary Tower, and Spellbook are very necessary for this deck. Don't drop a land in your pre-combat main in case you draw into Reliquary and have a fat hand.
