My take on Standard control - forget the blue/white, forget the counters. Forget worrying about keeping creatures alive. Here is a dagger to plunge into your foes' hearts without a worry of your own.

Primary focus on removal and Mogis, God of Slaughter. His powerful ability and resistance to removal makes for some great support against the opponent.

Splashing white for Blood Baron of Vizkopa and Assemble the Legion in Sideboard, and Elspeth, Sun's Champion.
