Skullbriar and stax a beautifuly disgusting combination.

In 1v1 Skullbriar only needs 6 swings to be lethal on a normal turn 2 drop. While it won't be true in pod play, hence why there's still some +1 counter ramp in the deck. It can be considered that any +1 counter ramp that doesn't accelerate up to 5 swing lethal damage is moot. So why give Skullbriar extra ramp he doesn't need when you can just lock out the entire rest of the board and let your win-con win at his own pace?

The deck plays pretty straightforward, turn 2 drop Skullbriar (or turn 1 with elvish spirit guide), start swinging, and dropping in all the stax effects and removal as needed. Tutor out Titanoth Rex for that sweet sweet trample counter from cycling it, or grab any specific stax effects to make your friends hate you.

Mycosynth lattice included for true lock out with Karn, Collector Ouphe, or Null Rod. Added alt wincon of infinite squirrels so the deck isn't 100% commander dependent.

Bayou, Imperial seal, Nether void, and tabernacle are not mandatory but they do help the deck a bit. Temple of Malady, Grim Tutor, and any other stax effects such as God-Pharaoh's Statue or +1/+1 counter cards can be added in as replacements which drops the deck down to about $1,000.
