Narset and Izzet Charm —Sept. 6, 2020
Did a lot more testing today. Field of ruin is in nearly 20% of decks right now so I'm trying Narset, Parter of Veils over Search for Azcanta Flip. Narset doesn't come down as early but it does more without flipping, and it restricts the opponent. It feels wayyy better against control decks that probably dont have an easy way to deal with it. It also feels better against aggro decks where it will soak up some damage and actually draw us cards before flipping. We only really miss out against decks like jund that hope to grind us out. I am also trying Izzet Charm over Mana Leak. Sort of a pet card of mine, it has 3 effects that we want and its super flexible although it might get changed back into a mana leak.
