Maybeboard

This is was a very indecisive deck for me to make. It's way beyond my budget range, and it is totally not compatible with my playgroup's social terms. Then again, this is the ideal deck so, considering the social terms isn't really important.

Muldrotha is down right broken. She can utilize the graveyard in so many ways. Her ability essentially turns your graveyard into your hard. Any spells that mills you can be directly translated to "Draw X cards that you Milled"

A commander like this would be a missed opportunity if we don't incorporate this deck with combos. Therefore, I will present to you some combo lines that this deck can go off consistently with.

All Combos Showcased here assumes that you have Muldrotha in play

LED is a broken card, it is also way too expensive. If this card never makes it to the shopping cart, you can replace this entire combo line with one of my alternative infinite mana combos, which consists the simple interaction between Peregrine Drake and Deadeye Navigator. These two pieces can be tutored with any consistent tutor package, but an all time budget alternative would be Shared Summons)

  1. Cast Lion's Eye Diamond
  2. Activate it, Add 3 to your Mana Pool
  3. Cast Phantasmal Image, have it enter as a Muldrotha, the Gravetide, legend rule forces you to sac one of them, choose the original one and put it in your graveyard.
  4. Cast the Lion's Eye Diamond from Muldrotha, the Gravetide ability as artifact per turn (The Phantasmal Image enters as a new instance of Muldrotha, the Gravetide, therefore you can cast a a permanent of the same type that you have already casted using Muldrotha, the Gravetide's ability.)
  5. Activate it, Add 3 to your Mana Pool.
  6. Cast Animate Dead/Necromancy targeting the Muldrotha, the Gravetide in your graveyard. Sac the Phantasmal Image version to the Legend Rule.
  7. Repeat 1-6 steps for infinite mana, gravestorm, storm.
  8. Find outlet to win
Undying Ballista

This combo line is just too good and simple to forbid. It provides us with so much unique routes we can take to victory. It works like a charm in all competitive decks, and it shines even brighter in this not so competitive deck.

There are different variants of card sequencing we can execute. Chose the one that is most accessible and consistent at the moment of your choosing

  1. Cast Flash
  2. Flash out Protean Hulk
  3. Don't pay the 2, and let Hulk die.
  4. Hulk Triggers, we can go get 6 CMC worth of creatures, from that we will get Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Walking Ballista.
  5. Activate Walking Ballista, removing a counter, Undying triggers, brings back Walking Ballista with a +1/+1 counter.
  6. Repeat step 5 until entire table is dead.

Consultation

This line is also simple and consistent.

  1. Instead of fetching Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Walking Ballista, we fetch Spellseeker and Thassa's Oracle. They both ETB at the same time, so you're allowed to stack the triggers accordingly.
  2. Stack the Spellseeker trigger above the Thassa's Oracle trigger, so you can go tutor for a Demonic Consultation/Tainted Pact while maintaining priority.
  3. After you've have looker for your instant, you cast it in respond to Thassa's Oracle's trigger.
  4. Exile your library and win by resolving Thassa's Oracle's trigger.
