Maybeboard

This deck focuses on making cheap token creatures fast then swapping them all out for something more powerful to overwhelm your opponents.

There are tons of ways to create tokens in this deck. Most of which create green/blue fractal tokens that come in with +1/+1 counters that we can take advantage of later. With Adrix and Nev, Twincasters at the helm, we have an easy way of doubling out produced tokens. Doubling Season is also included to give us more bang for our buck when we create our fractals. [Replication Technique] likes to target Doubling Season, but offers some flexibility in a pinch.

Once we’ve amassed an army of tokens we have three options to swap them, all with their advantages and drawbacks.

-Day of the Dragon exiles all of our creatures and replaces them with 5/5 flying dragons. When the enchantment leaves the battlefield the creatures exiled with it return. The main drawbacks of this are: summoning sickness, losing any +1/+1 counters in creatures, losing the creature tokens when they’re exiled. Alchemist's Refuge and [Leyline of Anticipation] help get around summoning sickness with pseudo haste, The Ozolith can mitigate any lost +1/+1 counters, the exiled tokens are lost but they’re easily generated again. The advantage of this is the dragon tokens can stick for more than one turn, and since they’re tokens we can pseudo boardwipe with little to no impact on us with Perplexing Test choosing to return non-token creatures. We can further increase our value if Doubling Season is out on the field.

-Echoing Equation   simply changes our creatures to one other creature we control until EoT. There aren’t many legendary creatures to take advantage of this card ignoring the legend rule. Deekah, Fractal Theorist and Ancient Bronze Dragon are ideal targets for this card. However, even cards like Herald of Secret Streams and Incubation Druid can be situationally viable. The affected creatures are not exiled. So while EtB effects won’t trigger again, they won’t have summoning sickness and they won’t lose +1/+1 counters.

-Sakashima's Will works best when we have Adrix and Nev, Twincasters on the field to be able to choose both options. With this we’re not limited to choosing a creature on our side of the field, but we are still limited by the Legend Rule. Once again we are only changing our creatures. So EtBs won’t trigger but they won’t have summoning sickness and we can still keep our +1/+1 counters.
