Simic Scientists have worked in secret for many years behind the scenes of the usual plane activity. Many of the monsters they design and create are often never seen by any other guilds.Ooze is a huge driving force behind their plots, as it is easily manipulated, yet incredibly powerful. These oozes can be anything from a small pest, to a large powerhouse. Miming Slime will copy the greatest, powerful creature I own, which means a harmless Vigean Hydropon will not only allow the ooze to become a 5/5, but will power it up to a 6/6 with the additional +1/+1 counter.Ooze also makes many other creatures in the guild stronger as well. Evolution is their main goal, and the oozes force others in the guild to keep up. Cloudfin Raptor, Experiment One and Elusive Krasis all get bigger as an ooze comes out. And by generating more, powerful oozes or Hydropons, these creatures go from wimpy small drops into fierce abominations.The counters that make these creatures powerful can be switched from creature to creature to make one giant beast, or can be used to help the whole in drawing cards with Give / Take, Prime Speaker Zegana and Zameck Guildmage.Regardless of their use, +1/+1 counters are a giant part of this deck.
