You've heard of Andrew Jackson Highlander? Build an EDH deck for under $20? Well let me introduce you to George Washington Highlander. That's right, I built this deck for just about $1 according to the lowest price available on TCGplayer. Very straightforward strategy: Play creatures, beat in for damage. Get enough scry to always draw into gas.

This was a challenge to put together to say the least. There really aren't that many cards under 5 cents, and many of the cards are at the lowest possible price, not the market price. This consists of almost every single blue flier with power = CMC - 1. Draw was limited as well. I've included all "draw three" cards under 5 cents.

I chose Siani, Eye of the Storm as the primary commander due to her low cost and decent advantage engine she is. Out of the cheap partner commanders, Eligeth, Crossroads Augur seemed like the best bet, as with both of them out its really easy to draw four or five cards per turn. Other commanders I tried include Araumi of the Dead Tide and Hallar, the Firefletcher . Araumi unfortunetly didn't really have any way to win, and Hallar was just too expensive with all the kicker and +1/+1 counter cards needed to make the deck work.
