• Introduction:

Friends, neighbors, ladies, gentlemen,

If you're feeling underpowered,

I'll help you make amends,

Stick your creature in the slot,

And let it change your luck,

Few things in life are guaranteed,

But I promise this wont suck

Punch your fists into the air,

And raise a rebel yell!

There's lotsa baduns out there

You need to send to hell.

With Pack-A-Punch I have a hunch,

Your problems will be gone,

But if you end up on the ground,

Sing a country western song.

  • The deck:

This deck plays around the ability Braids has to pull out creatures out of everyone's hands. Your creatures will generally be better and stronger, and if need be, you can steal the best toy with your wide array of Control Magic like spells. You also have ways to get Braids away from the battlefield once you get one of her juicy triggers, and some other creatures you have will bounce the disgusting stuff we cheated out for our opponents, making is a less symmetrical effect.

We have a leviathan/octopus/sea/spaghetti monster subtheme, and she was specially well suited to command them as she can pull those overcosted monsters for free. The deck itself is very random due to the nature of the commander, but that only makes it funnier, as you make your way taking control of the best stuff you cheated for your opponents.

  • The deck's weaknesses:

We are weak to other decks with more relevant creatures, like eldrazi decks, as our sea monsters barely stand up to the monsters from the blind eternitites. However as we can control them, this is not really that much of a downside, and we also have some eldrazi ourselves. Other weaknesses include having our commander killed before our turn starts, meaning we cheated out cards for everyone except us.

  • The deck's strenghts:

The sheer power of some of the creatures means that if you manage to survive long enough to hardcast them, you will pretty much be safe.
