What do you think about popping Ghoulcaller Gisa in here? Fits that zombie theme and is a great way to double attacking power while expanding board presence.

BishopAtavist so I did consider Gisa originally, but opted to cut her in favor of the draw/removal capabilities of Vilis.

She's definitely a great card though!

Just finished some of the updates taking suggestions into consideration.

What I love to do is including Inspiring Statuary, especially if you have so many artifacts already in there, turning all of them into additional acceleration. Love where you are with the deck!

Too late to edit: I'd exchange Inspiring Statuary for Ghirapur Orrery btw. You get at least the same acceleration from the statuary, and the draw from orrery will unlikely come up anyway.

I'll keep the sanctuary on the maybeboard just for any future considerations as this deck may evolved with time.

I would remove the zombies... they are so few to matter, and I would add protection for Sheoldred. Your deck can't function without him at all. Underworld Dreams and Fate Unraveler can help you dish out more damage or can be used as alternatives when your commander tax is big. You may wanna consider Lightning Greaves and Imp's Mischief as solid protection. Some more mana rocks might help you also. Just giving ideas

kalabocas3 Lightning Greaves and Swiftfoot Boots are already present in the deck to act as protection for her.

I've definitely considered adding Underworld Dreams, and will keep it in mind along with the Unraveler.

Currently there are ~18 ramp pieces in the deck already, 6 rocks, 2 lands, and a variety of other types of cost modifiers and mana sources that aren't as cleanly identified (such as Extraplanar Lens, Jet Medallion, and K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth for some examples on the variety). So I agree that she's going to catch a lot of hate and probably face removal against most pods, but we should be able to pay that tax at least a few times.

The zombies themselves can actually synergize rather well with the draw theme (Undead Augur Cryptbreaker), in addition to providing meat shields to help with aggro decks and combo token fodder. While I agree that on the face of it, 7 zombies (and Liliana, Dreadhorde General as a producer) isn't much to look at, but considering the drawing power of the deck with tutors included there's a strong statistical odds of pulling several over the game. Plus 4 of those 7 primarily exist to help us make more zombie tokens.

After giving this deck a bit of time I will consider dropping the zombies (decks are always subject to change, and this list originally included even more zombies which I cut in favor of other optimal pieces) but for now I'm going to keep them since they can actually support her rather well.

Idk. Underworld Dreams and the likes are not that strong here. But I feel for flavor reasons. Underworld Dreams should go in the deck. Besides, it's great Devotion for Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, that's NOT IN THE DECK! C'mon man
