welcome to the 4th installment of the shamans altar. A budget deck series by yours truly.

The goal of this series is to rekindle the essence of commander (EDH, if you’re an old timer like me). Fun decks with out breaking the bank. In this series of primers I will work my way through the color pie, keeping each deck at a maximum of $50. Some decks, much like the first one, will come in cheaper. I’ll include some upgrades at the bottom for those with deeper pockets.

So now that you’ve made it this far let’s begin with a mono white commander Kemba, Kha Regent. She love equipment and makes cats, is there really anything more you could want!? Kemba, makes a great voltron commander but we all know it’s going to be way more satisfying swinging with an army of sweet little kittens than doing commander damage.
So other than the cat tokens Kemba, Kha Regent produces we also have some other big bad puddy tats to soak up some of that equipment goodness like Balan, Wandering Knight who makes a great crouching tiger hidden commander ;) did you see what I did there?

Some other great kitties included are Taj-Nar Swordsmith/Jareth, Leonine Titan/Regal Caracal/Jazal Goldmane/Raksha Golden Cub and a few others

What good are all these cats with out some bad ass armor to go on them?

Swiftfoot Boots to protect Kemba Coat of Arms/Golem-Skin Gauntlets/Argentum Armor/Skullclamp/Sword of Vengeance/Loxodon Warhammer are just a few choices.

Ok I may be going a bit over the top here, but I just love cats ok? Anyways, here is a bit of removal and evasion to keep you from losing your tail

Board wipes like Mass Calcify/Divine Reckoning and Hour of Revelation

And targeted removal like Oblivion Ring/Return to Dust and Fumigate should keep you sorted.

Another great addition to this deck is Phyrexian Rebirth

Here we have some just plane useful cards like Ajani, Caller of the Pride for even more kitties Sigarda's Aid/Open the Armory/Open the Vaults/andSpear of Heliod are all the cats meow.
