The idea behind this deck is to keep hold of the monarch by keeping the board clear and in turn pump jared up to swing in for lethal damage.

a few of my favourite cards in the deck are:

Gift of Immortality: this card is great for all the ETB creatures that give me the monarch. I can use them as blockers, and if i still manage to take damage during the combat the creature comes back, making me the monarch once again.

Blazing Sunsteel,Sword of Fire and Ice: I put a few swords in the deck because of the art, and these ones go great with the theme of the deck because jared can do damage to himself with these, which in turn pumps him up.

Ramunap Excavator: the deck has a few fetch lands and MDFCS, so i figured the excavator would be a good include. its great being able to cast the spell side of an MDFC and then play the land side from your graveyard.

Zacama, Primal Calamity: Zacama can hit jared for 3 with his activated ability, and he is also a big body, and has enchantment/artifact removal to boot.
