Maybeboard

My first draft of this deck was intending to use Neheb, the Worthy as my commander, but after getting a chance to do a playtest with him at the helm, I think he himself will be a little too narrow to lead the deck. As such, I think leaning into Sethron, Hurloon General as my commander will lead to a more powerful, more balanced deck. This way I can lean more into the tribal effects and just have some other support cards, versus trying to lean into the (self) discard theme.

As such, the idea behind the deck is to go wide by creating truckloads of Minotaur's to smash into everyone's faces. Some card draw and spot removal to help get rid of the biggest creatures we can't get around. This is a rough list that will need some adjusting due to it being flipped from Neheb to Sethron. It should play mostly the same, but there are a few cards I plan to be switching out. I will plan to include some extra combat phase cards as well.

I've been playing with this deck for a little now and feel it's pretty good. It's got a great base going, but I felt like everything just needed some tuning. I think I've been leaning a little too heavy into the anthems to buff my creatures up but haven't had enough ways to make them deadly enough to get through. I did find an article which gave me some inspirations for how to improve my deck. I liked the base that I had, but the biggest cards that I got from the article were a couple creatures, and most importantly Dolmen Gate. I think that card will make all of my combat steps absolutely devastating with the other additions. https://commandersherald.com/minotaur-prime-the-ultimate-minotaur-deck/

Cards I swapped out: Creatures: Ahn-Crop Crasher, Archfiend of Ifnir, Bloodrage Brawler, Burning-Fist Minotaur, Merciless Javelineer, Skophos Reaver Sorceries: Angrath's Rampage, Avacyn's Judgment, Flurry of Horns, Haunting Voyage, Kindred Charge, Syphon Mind, Terminal Agony Instants: Dark Withering Enchantments: Outpost Siege, Molten Echoes, The Eldest Reborn Artifacts: Hazoret's Monument

Cards I swapped in: Creatures: Harsh Mentor, Neheb, the Eternal, Labyrinth Raptor, Sardian Cliffstomper, Species Specialist, Taurean Mauler, Zagras, Thief of Heartbeats Sorceries: By Force, Feed the Swarm, Mishra's Command, Predators' Hour Enchantments: Court of Ambition, Dictate of the Twin Gods, Rage Reflection, Visions of Phyrexia Artifacts: Dolmen Gate, Lightning Greaves, Thought Vessel Land: Mountain x1

Ultimately, I wanted to add some extra redundancy should something happen to Sethron, I still want to be able to make my creatures powerful enough to end the games. I will keep playing and tweaking this list.
