War of the Spark + Modern Horizons + M20 Update —April 28, 2019
- Liliana, Dreadhorde General might as well be called "Liliana, Hasty mob ball of death general". A card that is perfectly on theme with this deck's premise and works great with sek'kuar's tokens to boot. Rishkar's Expertise is out.
- Added Eldritch Evolution as once advised by Skjoldschoennemann. Removed Yavimaya Elder to make room, as I don't think it is that vital for this list.
- I added Rhythm of the Wild a while back. Nice to give creatures haste, while also being a combo piece that can protect that combo against counter magic. It has taken the place of Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest.
- Yawgmoth, Thran Physician is a draw spell and a sac outlet. Enough said :). The -1/-1 counters and the proliferate are a nice perk. Pretty sick with Mikaeus. Lifecrafter's Bestiary makes room.
- Going to test Cavalier of Night in the place of Fleshbag Marauder. It just gels well with this deck's premise. Time will tell if I can get BBB reliably at 5 lands. Also sneaked in Field of the Dead here for additional sac fodder.
