Just returned to magic after 2-3 years, looking for reasonable upgrades to my EDH Arixmethes deck. It has a pretty simple concept, centering around quick ramp and heavy-hitting creatures with a few board wipes and other neat tricks. Arixthemthes works well here because I can tap it for 2 mana, letting me get more high cost creatures out quicker, and as a result, ending Arixthethes slumber faster.
