I have no idea how to build Breya but i like me tokens.

so that's what i did. (by smashing an alela list and a kykar list together and saying "now kiss")

I probably need more than a(n) singular artifact recursion in this deck.

But that's okay. this looks like a power level 4-ish deck to me and that's alright. Timmying up with tokens is great.

the plan

this deck has two psuedocommanders along side Breya. Alela and Kykar. as long a one of them is out, the deck can function in some capacity.

general plan is cast eggs, becos they are easy fodder for Breya and are cheap to cast, letting me generate many a token with one of my many on cast token generators. many of the eggs etb for card draw also keeping me from immediately running out of steam.

there is one infinite combo with Emry, Mishra's Bauble and Chakram Retriever but the retriever and Emry also simply synergizes for repeatable artifact recursion.

Mirrodin Besieged also provides an alternate win-con(ish), but that's not a line of play I think i'd ever enter a game thinking that's my plan.

Altar of the Brood and Bastion of Remembrance are one way or another, pay offs for all the tokens that will be generated.

All That Glitters and Angelic Exaltation are just a couple alela staples that I figured work well enough with the deck. threatening to voltron with Breya or heal big with Alela is a straightforward but relevant strat.

Testing

maybe once quarantines are done and i can play magic again, i'll post my thoughts on the deck, how it performs and cards/lines of play/combos i'm testing for it here.
