Do you like dragons? Do you like combos? Do you have deep pockets? Then this is the deck for you!

Combos

There's probably the potential for some other janky combos in this pile, but these are the only ones that I've identified.

How to play

Mulligans

Your ideal opening hand has 3-4 lands, a ramp spell, and a protection spell. Dragons don't belong in your opening hand. Mulligan aggressively because this deck is stacked with great late-game topdecks, but it can only cast those late-game spells if you get to the mana to cast them.

Early turns

The most important thing is to keep your commander alive. This deck is very commander-centric and if he costs 11 mana to cast, you're probably going to lose the game. The goal is to cast Scion of the Ur-Dragon on turn 4 or 5 with something to protect him. Your early turns are going to be spent casting a ramp spell and a protection spell. Ideally, you cast Mother of Runes, Swiftfoot Boots, or Lightning Greaves on turn 1 or 2. Then on turn 3 you cast any of your ramp spells. If you don't have protection, and your opponents look likely to kill Scion of the Ur-Dragon on sight, wait until you have 7 mana available. Use Silumgar, the Drifting Death to blank their spot removal.

Tutoring with Scion of the Ur-Dragon

You might get away with keeping a low profile during the turns immediately after you cast Scion of the Ur-Dragon, but that's unlikely. What's more likely is that you're going to have an immediate target painted on your head, so you'll have to start doing broken things fast.

One of the best broken things that you can do in the turns immediately after you cast your commander is to bin Utvara Hellkite and reanimate it. You'll very quickly get a massive army of dragons that can not only beat face, but can serve as very capable blockers. Once Utvara Hellkite is going, getting Atarka, World Render, Dromoka, the Eternal , or Scourge of Valkas can quickly end the game.

If you have the mana, and your opponents have neither targeted removal nor grave hate, using your first attack to get Bladewing the Risen and Teneb, the Harvester is very strong. You'll have to bin Scion of the Ur-Dragon in the process, but you'll get him right back with Teneb, the Harvester next turn.

Go for your combos when you have the opportunity. They demand a response from your opponents, and they'll eventually run out of answers. This deck can recover very well thanks to the extensive reanimation package. If an opponent is about to resolve a wrath and you've got a reanimation spell in hand, go ahead and bin Bladewing the Risen or Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund. Hitting Scourge of Valkas, Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund, and Utvara Hellkite off of a mass reanimation spell is backbreaking.

Updates Add

The Worldgorger Dragon combos are too easily disrupted and neither Worldgorger Dragon nor Shivan Hellkite are particularly good on their own. The Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind + Snake Umbra combo pieces are similarly weak individually. Spellbound Dragon is pretty much always better than Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind; he draws you cards, fills your graveyard, and with this deck's high curve almost always smashes face for a ton of damage.

Slumbering Dragon is a cheap threat that slows down fast aggro. Thanks to AxisBanana for the suggestion. My dragon-based removal package gets an upgrade in Hellkite Tyrant. Previously, it was almost impossible to deal with high-CMC artifacts (like Blightsteel Colossus or Darksteel Forge). Survival of the Fittest does huge amounts of work in this deck, for obvious reasons.
