This deck want to grind the game down while taking every opportunity to burn there face of or hit there small dudes. Spells like Negate are cheap anwsers to bombs like planeswalkers or that token angel enchantment while Syncopate helps disrupt tempo decks early, while card like Risk Factor and Chemister's Insight make sure you have options in you play. When the time is right you can drop Niv-Mizzet, Parun into a Expansion / Explosion to melt there face off . Or you could just cast Expansion / Explosion into itself multiple turns. Feel free to move some of the creature hate from side to main deck if it makes you fair better vs aggro in game 1.

If i was made of dollars i might splash white for:

1x Teferi, Hero of Dominaria over 1x Niv-Mizzet, Parun and i would put that Niv in the side deck over Banefire

4x Justice Strike over 4x Essence Scatter

4x Deafening Clarion Over 4x Fiery Cannonade

2x Search for Azcanta   over 2x Firemind's Research maybe on this last on as that free lava axe is really nice to have late game.
