Saskia, Who Salts the Earth is a punisher deck. The goal is simple: to make players pay for every action they take. Little by little, pinging damage for every land tapped, every spell cast, every card drawn, until it adds up to death by a thousand cuts.

• Punish every action; from making mana hurt with Manabarbs to stinging with every card drawn with Spiteful Visions to bolting every spell with Spellshock, you'll be ticking down life totals every second of the game.
• Double-down damage with big haymakers to make the chipping really hurt. Heartless Hidetsugu, Havoc Festival, and Torbran, Thane of Red Fell will have the little damage quickly becoming a source of real concern.
• Protect yourself from the worst effects by reducing damage to yourself with spells like Sphere of Law and Gisela, Blade of Goldnight to keep you alive.
