Maybeboard

That's right, it's a shaman tribal deck.

I found Sachi, Daughter of Seshiro when looking through a friends old collection and was immediately excited by the mana dork abilities it grants shaman creatures. Dismissing any potential snake synergies I promptly asked myself the question: Are there enough worthwhile shamans in green to make this thing work?

The answer turns out to be, yeah kinda.

While this deck is no top tier list, there is a surprising amount of synergies to be had. Listed below are some themes.

As always, any suggestions are very much appreciated.

Although we will have lots of mana from our creatures, in case of the inevitable board wipe we need strong land-based mana production to get things moving again.
With all of our mana, it is really easy to blow our hand so we need to constantly be refilling.
  • Beast Whisperer

  • Regal Force
  • Harmonize
  • Mind's Eye
  • Soul of the Harvest
  • Zendikar Resurgent
  • Card draw w/ a little something added:

The idea is finding ways to untap our shamans and squeeze as much mana out of them as possible, with Yeva, Nature's Herald we can do it all at instant speed!
  • Vitalize

  • Seedborn Muse
  • Quest for Renewal
  • Great Oak Guardian
  • Patron of the Orochi
  • Paradox Engine
  • This deck doesn't have anything too fancy but I felt inspired by Yeva Draw-Grow by Inkmoth_ to mention a few infinite mana combos I lifted from his deck tech (Which is great, check it out).

    Combo 1

Temur Sabertooth + Great Oak Guardian + Creature(s) tapping for 9:

    • Tap creature(s) for 9 mana
    • Play GoG for 6; untap all
    • Pay 2 to bounce GoG with Sabertooth; 1 mana left in the pool
    • Repeat

    Combo 2

    Temur Sabertooth + Eternal Witness + Benefactor's Draught + Creature(s) tapping for 8 mana:

    • Tap creature(s) for 8 mana
    • Play E-Wit targeting Benefactor's; 5 mana in the pool
    • Pay 2 to bounce E-Wit w/sabertooth; 3 mana in the pool
    • Pay 2 for Benefactor's; 4 mana in the pool (all creatures untap)
    • Pay 3 for E-Wit; 1 mana in the pool
    • Repeat
Well with all that mana and creatures there are a few ways to win.
