Other (1)

I've always loved weird commanders, and I love gimmicks. So it was only a matter of time before I made a deck with Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh.

But! I took a different approach this time to my usual setup of theming and janky builds, instead opting for something that could be usable, even to the point of entry level cEDH.

That being said, I wouldn't class this as a cEDH deck, as it most definitely isn't optimised and streamlined, though I have included many ways to Voltron Rograkh into an immense threat, with plenty of support creatures, tutor options, and protection.

Play Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh
Jeweled Lotus: Play and sac to cast Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist
Mana Crypt: Play and for
Command Tower: Play and for
Cartouche of Zeal: Play and enchant Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh
Mox Amber: Play and for
Colossus Hammer: Play
Kor Blademaster: Play

Move to combat:
Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist equips all equipment to Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh
Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh swings for 22 commander damage

Obviously, the main point of this deck is to be swinging with our tiny aggro kobold, but we can also use him as a sac-outlet loop utilising Enduring Renewal + Goblin Bombardment
In this case, we make sure we have Enduring Renewal and Goblin Bombardment in play along with Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh and can infinitely loop playing and sacrificing our Kobold Leader for infinite damage.

Alternatively, we can forgo combo pieces and instead just use might and board presence through our support creatures and equipment, threats such as Avacyn, Angel of Hope and Jeska, Thrice Reborn, along with equipment such as Moonsilver Spear and Bloodforged Battle-Axe provides many viable winning situations where we can win from board presence

In this deck we have a few options for taking care of things.

Creatures

Having access to white gives us our staples of Path to Exile and Swords to Plowshares which hopefully, we can recover with Charmbreaker Devils
Besides instants, since we'll be aiming to attack with Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh each turn, we'll hopefully be removing creatures that way regardless.
But even failing that, we have our TWO board wipes in the form of Single Combat and Slash the Ranks. Both of which leave our teeny tiny monster threat untouched!

Artifacts & Enchantments

We have reliable removal through the use of cards such as Argentum Armor and Latulla's Orders, the later of which we can cast quite early to remove opposing ramp and Argentum later game to remove bigger threats.
We also have our one-off in the form of Generous Gift which is both hilarious and useful, again, hopefully being able to summon back through our Mischievous friends

Combat Damage/targeted removal

Not a lot in the way of neutralising targeted spells, that's where our protection in the form of Swiftfoot Boots, Avacyn, Angel of Hope, and Darksteel Plate come into play for lasting protection as well as Deflecting Swat, Flawless Maneuver, Teferi's Protection, and Timely Ward for reactionary protection.

So many options for recursion in this deck. Our strongest being Emeria Shepherd which pairs amazingly with Sword of the Animist ensuring we can bring back something pretty much every turn
With the amount of Plains we're running, Emeria, the Sky Ruin is invaluable, letting us bring back our supporting creatures.
Charmbreaker Devils allows us to recurse our instants and sorceries (albeit at random, but still), which will let us hopefully re-run protection cards like Flawless Maneuver and Deflecting Swat multiple times and allow us to re-use tutors such as Enlightened Tutor, Open the Armory, and Steelshaper's Gift allowing us to rip out all our combo pieces to the battlefield
