Ive been running this deck for a couple years now with on and off results. I need some help making it more consistent. When I look at it I think it looks great but in my Meta it struggles. It may just be the wrong style deck for my heavy control meta but I enjoy tokens and Selesnya colors are my favorite.

Every since I pulled Rhys the Redeemed and then found the Commander format I knew he was going to lead a deck. His second ability is just crazy if you can be successful with it and a few tokens out.

Rhys's right hand woman is Avacyn, Angel of Hope. She keeps all his tokens safe and formidable. Then you have Avenger of Zendikar which paired with Rhys's second ability gets out of hand quickly. Below are some of my other card choices and why:

Brimaz, King of Oreskos - Medium sized body that can steadily produce tokens with Vigilance.

Champion of Lambholt - is one of the win conditions. With enough counters on her your whole army should be unblockable.

Craterhoof Behemoth - another win condition. He is an MVP in this deck.

Darien, King of Kjeldor - gives me some defense and makes my opponents think twice about attacking me.

Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite - can be mass removal for opponents tokens or weenies. It can also be an anthem for my army.

Hornet Queen - another token generator and gives me some defense in the skies with deathtouch.

Mycoloth - if I can keep this card on the battlefield it becomes nasty quickly. An every turn token source is amazing in this deck.

Linvala, keeper of secrets - gives me a source of control for my opponents.

Seedborn Muse - No explanation needed but when paired with either Rhys's abilities or my elven mana dorks it is just crazy!

Selvala, Explorer Returned – This provides a nice source of both ramp and card draw with a minor setback by allowing my opponents to draw cards.

Shalai, Voice of Plenty – This provides some protection for me against taking burn to the face and hexproof to my important creatures.

Tendershoot Dryad – This is a crazy token producer that gets out of hand if your opponents don’t deal with it quickly. Add a doubling effect like Parallel Lives or Doubling Season and it explodes.

Sylvan Caryatid – This is a great early drop and a color fixing ability in one source.

Elvish Archdruid – This is a Lord for the other elves and supplies a large amount of mana. Especially with Wirewood Lodge out.

Elvish Mystic and Llanowar Elves – these provide a great one drop to start ramping on turn 1.

Priest of Titania – See Elvish Archdruid.

Wirewood Channeler – This gives the same effect as Priest of Titania and Elvish Archdruid but also lends a huge source for White Mana.

Freyalise, Llanowar's Fury – This is a token producer, an Elf Producer, and a mana producer all on the same card.

crytolith rite – This is a great source of mana with just a few tokens out and with more than a few it gets insane.

Selesnya Signet – provides a source of mana that is susceptible to board wipes. Pretty standard for all Selesnya EDH decks.

Sol Ring – No explanation needed.

Gaea's Cradle – I finally acquired the best creature based mana source there is.

Ant Queen – she is a good size body with a higher CMC but once on the battlefield with the mana generation capabilities of this deck she can spit out volumes of Insect tokens.

Avenger of Zendikar – This elemental not only spits out a good number of 0/1 plant tokens but he also interacts nicely with Nissa, Voice of Zendikar and her plant tokens.

Brimaz, King of Oreskos – This feline royalty spits out tokens with the extra ability of Vigilance.

Hornet Queen – Another source of token royalty. She helps defend Rhys from the skies and adds tokens with some evasion.

Mycoloth – at first this guy takes your army down a bit but then if he can stay on the battlefield he gets crazy and provides an every turn token generator.

Elspeth, Sun's Champion – A Planeswalker with a higher CMC but the payoff is huge. Not only is she an every turn token generator but she is a source of mass removal as well.

Freyalise, Llanowar's Fury – A Planeswalker with another higher CMC but she is very versatile. She adds constant token generation, Ramp, a source of enchantment/artifact removal, AND a draw source if you can get her ultimate off.

Garruk, Primal Hunter – A Planeswalker that adds two different token generation options and a good draw source to boot.

Nissa, Voice of Zendikar – A Planeswalker with a low CMC that again bring versatility to the deck. She brings a steady flow of tokens, she pumps up your army, AND she provides another large source of card draw.

Divine Visitation – Since the deck spits out a ton of 1/1 creature tokens this is a very synergistic card that turns the weenies into formidable flyers.

Luminarch Ascension – in my opinion this may be one of the strongest token generators in the game. If you get this down on turn 2 you may be able to start churning out flying tokens by turn 3.

March of the Multitudes and Secure the Wastes – these both offer instant speed token generation that can be huge battle tricks or just end of opponent’s turn shenanigans. With March of the Multitudes having the Convoke ability it can be nasty.

Martial Coup – This card not only produces “X” amount of tokens but with 5 or more paid you can have mass creature removal as well. Add Coat of Arms or Cathars' Crusade and its good game.

Doubling Season , Parallel Lives, Anointed Procession, and Rhys the Redeemed himself all interact with tokens by doubling their numbers and allowing your army to explode and win wide.

Coat of Arms - on turn 5 or before this gets out of hand. Yes, it buffs your opponent's creatures as well but if they have more than you when you put it down and they get the win because of it then so be it. The risk vs reward level is one I am willing to take.

Beastmasters Ascension - get this enchantment out and 7 counters should be no problem. Your +5/+5 army is ready to stomp.

Cathars' Crusade - This is almost better than coat of arms due the fact it only buffs your creatures but due to the fact a board wipe

Akroma's Memorial - I have so much to say about this one but not enough space. This is a real game changer. It gives protection, flying, vigilance, trample, haste and first strike. WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED????

Shalai, Voice of Plenty - This is another versatile piece within the deck that offers protection but it also offers a mana dump into a nice source of pumping your entire force.

Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite - as previously discussed this guy is a bomb. It works as mass removal for small creatures and tokens. At the same time it buffs your entire army by +2/+2.

Gavony Township - A land that pumps your army and provides mana dumping? Yes please! Most people dont run a ton of land destruction and this isnt a huge target anyway so it has staying power.

Selvala, Explorer Returned - This offers a group hug effect which may make it seem less threatening but the advantage it gives is well worth the trade-off.

Freyalise, Llanowar's Fury - The ultimate on this Planeswalker is not out of the realm of possible and gives a possible huge draw engine.

Garruk, Primal Hunter - this 2nd ability is achievable the same turn the Planeswalker enters the battlefield and this can be huge or at the least 3+ cards.

Huatli, Radiant Champion - this is another card I knew I would need as soon as it was spoiled. As previously stated I have a passion for token decks and this paired with tokens can ultimate quickly and then from there the results are insane. The fact that it is a "May" ability makes this even better as you do not have to worry about drawing yourself out.

Vivien Reid - This Planeswalker while not drawing you cards per say allows you to sift through the top of your library to find an important creature or land. Cough Gaea's Cradle Cough

Sylvan Library - again at the minimum allows you to sift and with some life given up you can get some good early card advantage.

Enlightened Tutor - This classic enchantment/artifact tutor can find you an early Sol Ring or a late game Coat of Arms!!

Shamanic Revelation - this is another one of those cards that paired with tokens or a bunch of creatures gets out of hand.

Skullclamp - not much needs said about this EDH Staple. Tokens + Skullclamp = GOOD :)

As stated please lend any assistance you can to take this deck over the top. enter image description here
