This is my first-go at building a Rhys the Redeemed deck. Overall, the deck can explode quite fast but is volatile to early game board wipes. The main plan is to get your engine going ASAP, so don't be afraid to mulligan. It's fairly important to have something to net you some mana like a Priest of Titania or a Smothering Tithe , anything will do, as you want to have Rhys plopping out 1/1 Elf Warriors like its their job (it is.) Currently, the weakest areas of this deck are a) As mentioned before, early game board wipes hurt. I've got a few things that grant indestructible -- so based off the gamestate/what opponents are playing, it may be worth it get out an early game Avacyn, Angel of Hope through a Tooth and Nail , or something similar -- and b) Card draw. Being in Selesnya colors, its tough to equip a strong draw package, especially when you want to focus out a deck as much as possible. We still do have some absolutely sweet engines, such as Skullclamp , an insane piece to have opening hand and just as powerful as the game progresses. Sylvan Library , of course, is an essential in a deck that has green. Mentor of the Meek is beautiful synergy with most of the deck and especially Rhys's ability. Alongside these I also decided to test out, Selvala, Explorer Returned and in turn, jammed Paradox Engine in, because these together are just too bomb. Gonna work on a write-up similar to what I have for Yidris for this deck, but it may take some time. Overall, super psyched on this deck though and looking for some recommendations!
