Picture this:
Turn 1: Play mountain. Play
Orcish Lumberjack
. Look it that beard, it just screams "Put me in coach!"
Turn 2: Admire options. There are so many combos to pick from, depending on what you have. Ideally, you will have a forest, but even if you have another mountain, you should still be able to combo. Steamroll your team out.
This is where what you do depends on your hand.
If you have a forest, play it. You can play any of your big creatures, i.e. 4x
Argothian Wurm
and 4x
Shivan Wumpus
, on Turn 2. Tap Orcish Lumberjack and your mountain, while sacrificing this forest, so that you have four mana in your pool to cast them. The opponent will be forced to sacrifice either their sole or second land or deal with a 6/6 Trample on Turn 2.
There are also options is if you have two mountains on the field Turn 2. If have a
Burning-Tree Emissary
, playing that will give you more options. If your opponent controls a creature, you can enchant it with
Custody Battle
and give your opponent the option of giving you the creature or sacrificing a land. You could also play
Horned Kavu
to get a stronger creature on the board and return the Emissary to your hand. You could also use
Raze
or
Scorched Earth
situationally to destroy an opponent's land, followed up by
Noxious Revival
to return the land you rid yourself of to your hand.
Turn 3: Continue rolling out your combos. The main goal of this deck is to destroy your opponents lands by destroying your own using
Orcish Lumberjack
,
Raze
and
Scorched Earth
, then return the lands in your graveyard by comboing with
Noxious Revival
and
Harvest Wurm
.
