I posted a full video deck tech for this deck on Youtube, plus I'll be playing games with it periodically, you can find all of that here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLZX5Ly_QRoO2J9SA4Mgs7V-DaNuyICIQ5
Restore Balance is one of my favorite decks in Modern! It's similar to
Living End
, in that we are trying to use spells with Cascade to cheat a card into play, but instead of
Living End
we're trying to cast
Restore Balance
! If we cast
Violent Outburst
,
Ardent Plea
, or
Demonic Dread
, it will ALWAYS hit Restore Balance since everything costs 3 or more mana. It will basically wipe our our opponent's entire board since we won't have any lands thanks to Borderposts, at which point we're just going to jam a
Metalwork Colossus
or
Greater Gargadon
into play and pummel the opponent into oblivion.
The Gargadon also lets us sacrifice any lands we have to ensure Restore Balance wipes out everything on the opponent's board. Hurray! Restore Balance is the best!
March of the Machines
can animate all of our borderposts into an army of 3/3s to finish the game, and
Kiora, the Crashing Wave
has multiple uses. She can help us survive until we wipe the board, she can keep a 1-drop in check if our opponent keeps something like a
Death's Shadow
in hand after we Restore Balance, and the ultimate is another game finisher.
Metalwork Colossus
can also just be a flat-out 10/10 on turn 3 with the Borderposts. Ideally I'd prefer to wait and wipe the board before casting it, but sometimes a 10/10 on turn 3 is good enough to win a game, so why not!
Sideboard: We can't play things that cost 2 or less because of the way that Cascade/Restore Balance work, but
Wispmare
and
Ingot Chewer
is a way around that. They have high mana costs, but the each have a 1-mana evoke cost, so we can cast these for 1 mana and have artifact/enchantment hate that is low on the curve. Oblivion Ring isn't the best but it works well enough.
