The deck has 2 main themes: gaining life, and creating tokens. Often gaining life can lead to token creation (from Regna and backup effects Crested Sunmare , Regal Bloodlord as she costs 6 mana and can be hard to cast after the first time.) We are aiming to gain life on each players turn through cards like Soul Warden or Authority of the Consuls that enable this.

Once we have these tokens, we are trying to sacrifice them for card draw or other value, through krav mainly but also Vampiric Rites or Ashnod's Altar .
