Double, double, toil and trouble…

Rhys wins by overwhelming opponents with a wide army of tokens. In the early game, he uses one-time token makers like Elven Ambush along with several mana dorks to get a head start on his army. He then builds it with his ability in the midgame, not attacking, since the loss of even one token has exponential effects. When the army is big enough, he drops a pump card like Coat of Arms to go wide and win. Note that infinite mana combos (like Priest of Titania/Staff of Domination) can let him generate infinite tokens. Be careful not to play more than one other token doubler (like Parallel Lives) at a time, lest you need to mount a comeback later.
