Pauper Commanders: Armix, Filigree Thrasher & Rebbec, Architect of Ascension

Mini-combo: Turn Rebbec into an artifact with Ashnod's Transmogrant so that she can protect herself. This pairs nicely with Pestilence, since Rebbec will give all artifacts protection from Pestilence (CMC 4). Even if you don't have Rebbec as an artifact, she can protect all of your artifacts from Pestilence (if you control a CMC 4 artifact) until she dies. Alternatively, use one of the pro-black instants to save her for the turn.

Some really tough cuts were made. Dimir House Guards would be useful for tutoring for Pestilence. Plenty of premium spot removal was left out. Leonin Elder provides decent life-gain. It's a work in progress. I haven't really played it yet.
