Hello everyone!

This is the first commander deck I've ever built. I got into MTG in 2018 or so, exclusively playing Standard on Arena. I built up my collection on Arena and got a bit better, then found myself getting decimated by control decks, and developed a passionate hate for blue. When I was designing this deck in 2022, I kept thinking, no matter what, I'm going to make blue suffer. Originally the vision was that the deck plays however it plays, and I stocked up on single target land destruction (Sinkhole and 10 variations on it) so that, if someone was holding up blue mana for any reason, I would overreact and destroy their lands. The deck gets its name from what I'm meant to scream if anyone counters my commander. Then I started playing and learned that Commander is meant to be an easygoing and social format, and that I could save my overreacting for when I face control decks in 1v1.

Anyway, in this iteration of the deck, it's my strongest deck, I'm still figuring out power levels and things. Basically it ramps to oblivion and wins through life manipulation, most common wincon is "everyone loses half their life" + "your opponents lose life equal to the life they've lost this turn". A friend once described it as "I'm going down and I'm bringing all of you with me". I tried as best as I could to keep it demon tribal, some non-demon creatures snuck in.

Onto how it works:

Getting There: Card Draw and Ramp Show

Between mana rocks, dorks, reduction spells, ramping lands, doublers, alternate costs, and rituals, this deck has 26 ramp cards. It needs them, because the commander costs 8 mana and the cheapest wincon in the deck costs 11 mana. For a while I toyed with ramp based on proliferating (either with lands that tap for multiple mana but only temporarily, like Peat Bog, or any mana rock with charge counters), but that's not a strategy that works with anything else this deck is trying to do.

For card draw, not much to say, demons have a pretty solid amount of card draw support. Most demons that let me draw cards ended up here. Last night I was doing a test game and ended up with something like 30 cards in hand, it was absurd.

Win Cons Show

Fraying Omnipotence/Scourge of the Skyclaves/Quietus Spike + Wound Reflection/Warlock Class/Archfiend of Despair. Quietus Spike only targets one player but it's there in a pinch.

Profane Transfusion/Repay in Kind because I know I'll be spending a lot of life. It's not uncommon for this deck to win with less than 10 life left, even if I wasn't attacked all game.

Pestilence Demon/Dread Cacodemon + Shriveling Rot is the coolest one for me, it turns an opponent's massive board state into a huge source of danger for them.

Exsanguinate is there just because this deck can generate a lot of mana, and sometimes I just use it for life gain.

If a player interferes with the above, I bring out Sorin Markov/Profane Transfusion to bring their life down, entirely out of pettiness.

What's Missing Show

The biggest thing: the commander is awesome. Razaketh, the Foulblooded isn't a 'kill on sight' commander, I think he's a 'don't let him get cast' commander. He comes in, tutors for the winning combo, doesn't matter if you've killed him by then, he's already won the game. The problem is the same problem with all tutors, I know what I'm getting every time I cast him. Eventually it gets boring, which is one reason why this deck has a few different types of wincons. My contingency is that, if I get bored of Razaketh, I'll swap him for Vilis, Broker of Blood, who works just as well as the commander, and put Razaketh in the 99 in Vilis' place.

As far as deck composition, not enough interaction. The majority of my removal package is sorcery speed, I'm gradually fixing that. This iteration of the deck also runs Nevinyrral's Disk, which is actually horrible for this deck (I rely so heavily on mana rocks), I wanted something that can deal with other players' enchantments and artifacts but this ain't it. There are a few demons that etb with some kind of removal effect, Dread Cacodemon is in there right now as the big one, but I might change it because that is a very expensive card to cast.

The deck is also low on creatures that want to be sacrificed (whether that be tokens of self-reanimating creatures), so occasionally I find myself sacrificing some of my card draw engines to get my wincons. I guess the thing with Razaketh is, when I cast him, that's because I'm ready to win the game, so it's not a huge deal.

Maybeboard has a bunch of the cards on my to-buy list.

So, yeah, I'd love thoughts and opinions. I'm still working on it, I'll be adding the more expensive cards as funds grow available, but for now I'd love thoughts on the direction this deck is taking.
