"Bottom feeders sometimes rise to the top."

This is the slightly updated version of one of my earliest decks. It might not be the most competitive, but who doesn't like to spawn a pack of rats and watch them ramp up? I wanted to have a rat deck that didn't include Relentless Rats or Rat Colony, but had to notice there are fewer rats in MTG than I expected. So here we are:

Admittedly this deck is no rocket science. Get your rats on the board, while slowing down your opponent with Burglar Rat, Ravenous Rats and Chittering Rats. Spawn more rats with Marrow-Gnawer, Piper of the Swarm and Pack Rat, all while ramping up your Door of Destinies. If you should encounter threats, you can get rid of them with Bloodchief's Thirst and Doom Blade. Also you are able to pull of some nasty surprise attacks with Okiba-Gang Shinobi and Throat Slitter if your opponent should decide not to block your Typhoid Rats. I even found the deck to be fairly resilient against board wipes thanks to Door of Destinies.

I hope you enjoy one of my favourite decks and also as usual please feel welcome to share any improvement suggestions!
