Ramp, Ramp, Draw. Draw, Swing, Win.

Commander / EDH Counters GU (Simic) Ramp


Looking for the best that Green and Blue have to offer, meaning of course ramp and card draw respectively. Hoping to maximize my mana base and hand size as quickly as possible to put the game out of reach for everyone else before they know what hit them. Suggestions are welcome!

The original build of this deck was, as I’ve gradually come to realize, for the most part just Simic good stuff, which is fine (Simic being arguably the best two colour pair for good stuff decks), but I’ve been trying to move this list in a more thematically focused direction. In this case, that means mostly +1/+1 counters, with a bunch of card draw that revolves around the counters theme as much as possible, paired with a slightly higher than average number of ramp sources to get there quicker. In this version, PSZ is more of a payoff than a build around, but the feeling of drawing anywhere from ~5-20+ cards when she lands is just too good to pass up.

The problem inherent with Simic good stuff seems to be one of decision paralysis: there are simply too many good cards to choose from. So, as always, comments, suggestions, criticisms, etc. are appreciated!
