Maybeboard

Welcome to Rakdos Planeswalkers, where fire and death is welcomed! My former roommate despises this deck, which is telling of how fun it is!

Objective: Control your opponent's board state with an array of removal spells and disruption, then stick a couple planeswalkers on the board. Your opponent will helplessly watch their life force drain away. I would explain this deck further, but there's really not much thinking involved in the removal aspect, but I will explain a few key pieces.

Cut/Ribbons: Cut is okay removal if we have nothing else in hand, but the aftermath part wins games. It's a card I also don't mind discarding with Liliana of the Veil , Collective Brutality or Faithless Looting . Use Chandra, Torch of Defiance , and/or Koth of the Hammer 's mana abilities and we can take a large chunk of health from our opponent, if not immediately end the game. Something that doesn't happen often, but is a fun bonus with the aftermath ability, is when you have a bloodmoon and koth in play. All your nonbasics become mountains and Koth's -2 nets us significantly more mana for our aftermath ability.

Chandra, Fire Artisan : Not our most powerful walker, but she acts as a slightly worse Chandra, Torch of Defiance by still providing card advantage, while making our opponents think twice about killing her.

Angrath, the Flame-Chained : By the time Angrath hits the board our opponent should have lost a lot of gas. Angrath ensures they do not get a chance to stabilize by knocking cards from their hand, and/or taking a creature they were "lucky" enough to play and use it against them.

Sideboard: Suffer the Past may be an unexpected choice, but it's another card I consider highly underrated. At instant speed you can disrupt graveyard combo decks and gain life, which can set back burn and storm just enough for us to survive. Shattering Spree is pretty self explanatory, takes care of affinity and decks using aether vial. Ashiok, Dream Render provides more graveyard hate, turns off opponent's fetches, and stops combo decks like amulet titan, titanshift, and ad nauseum. ElderSpell is one I'm testing out still. If our opponent's are playing Jace or Lili's of their own, we can kill them at instant speed and make our planeswalkers that much closer to ulting.

That's all I'm going to say about the deck. Please let me know what you think! Suggestions are appreciated.
