Radha Ramps Like Crazy On A BUDGET

Commander / EDH Budget Casual Ramp RG (Gruul) Tokens

Moosh528491

The goal of this deck is simple - ramp a bit, get out Radha, and then create a value engine off of tokens, drawing cards, and swinging for the win. Suggestions are welcome, but please keep the $30 budget in mind.

Breakdown by Category:

Tokens - Anything that generates tokens, tokens, tokens, and more tokens.

Token Advantage - Anything that gives my tokens an advantage, or gives me an advantage just because of the sheer amount of tokens that I have.

Card Draw - For when I exhaust my hand from the ridiculous amount of mana Radha makes.

Removal - Three cards I can draw into to get rid of nasty threats.

Ramp - It's EDH, what did you expect?

Mana Sink - For when I need to use the ridiculous amount of mana Radha makes. These can sometimes be win-cons.

Win Cons - These cards are four cards that practically guarantee my victory. With Hellkite Charger I can go infinite combat phases if I have seven creatures (and if I have eight creatures I'll go infinite mana as well, not that it'll matter), with Overrun I'll just absolutely destroy my opponents with sheer power, with Decimator of the Provinces and End-Raze Forerunners , I'll also pulverize my enemies into the ground, and with Tilonalli's Summoner I'll generate such a massive amount of tokens each turn that unless Tilonalli's Summoner is dealt with, I'll win. Lastly, Tears of Rage . This one is interesting. It is dangerous, because if I can't win that turn I almost surely lose. However, it can get so out of hand that this is unlikely to happen, and I'll most likely win.

Recovery - If there's ever a board wipe these guys will swoop in and help me recover quickly, so I can keep my crazy value engine rolling. It's important to note something when talking about Fresh Meat . When tokens die, they go to the graveyard, then are removed from the game as a state-based action when priority is passed back to you. What this means is that even though my tokens aren't in there anymore, and only remain there for an instant of game time before their leaving resolves, they were still put there at some point in the game. So, Fresh Meat will give me tokens for my tokens.

ManaBase - My lands.

Fun Synergy: Familiar Ground + Gruul War Chant and Familiar Ground + Goblin War Drums create a fun synergy that makes all my creatures unblockable. I didn't know where to put this, so I'm putting it down here.

This deck is a lot of fun to play, I highly recommend it.
