My attempt at making a solid modern deck for ab $30. Never played modern so idk if its problematic or not. Gameplan: infinite mana (pili-pala + grand architect), then draw as many cards as I want (azure mage or whispers of the muse) until I pick up banefire or ambassador laquatus, then deal either infinite, uncounterable, unpreventable damage (banefire) or mill opponents entire deck (ambassador laquatus). In my playtesting, this deck gets the combo off and wins on turn 4 about half the time, and usually turn 5 when it doesn't. (going first)
