Maze's End is my absolute favourite win con in all of Magic. I've had foils of Maze's End and all the Guildgates sitting in my collection since I torn apart my Modern Maze's End deck. I've always wanted to bring it to commander just nothing really spoke to me as to how to do it. Plenty of great options with Golos leading the pack to make it super viable and competitive but like...I first made Maze's End when it was standard legal and the whole reason I made it was because, at the time, I had a mono colour deck of every colour and someone challenged me to make a colourless deck in standard and since there was no real way of winning I went with Maze's End. I kind of wanted something similar with EDH. I had a foil Progenitus laying around and I said to myself you know what - I'm building this strictly with cards I have in my collection. I want it to be something I don't run to my LGS to improve I want it to be improved from my collection and what I pull in boosters. So that will remain the theme of the deck. There obviously a TON of cards I want to add and the deck and it would look vastly different if I took that approach but the current theme really speaks to me. It's 100% homebrewed.
