This is my simic Prime Speaker Zegana deck, started as a +1/+1 counter theme deck, but it evolved (pun intended) from that into a ramp up big creatures into play.

Skyshroud Claim ramp/thin the deck out

Kodama's Reach ramp/thin the deck out

Cultivate ramp/thin the deck out

Oracle of Mul Daya ramp/thin the deck out

Thassa, God of the Sea the scry lets me thin the deck out.

Couterspells in EDH can get annoying fast so I try to use them mostly for protection, and not to shut people out, that being said these ones are great.

Glen Elendra Archmage great against board wipes

Mana Drain is just too good not to use.

Voidslime versatility is key this is a Counterspell or Stifle all in one.

Mystic Snake who doesn't love a Counterspell stapled to Grizzly Bears?

Spell Crumple and Hinder for those absolutely oppressive commanders.

Tutoring up Answers or win conditions

Chord of Calling Instant speed!

Genesis Wave so fun with all the mana stored on Kruphix

Green Sun's Zenith re-useable tutor

Defense of the Heart your opponents have to play around this so it helps establish a board state/

Worldly Tutor instant speed before its your turn to draw what you want.

Survival of the Fittest a beast in this deck chuck a useless card to go find an answer (mystic Snake).

Natural Order another power house to go get a big green guy, and personally one of my favorites.

Tooth and Nail Cratehoof and Deadeye, game over?

Momir Vig, Simic Visionary just fun especially with dual color creatures.

These two are just unfair if unanswered.

Prophet of Kruphix untap, survival, flash, repeat.

Seedborn Muse all permanents, so I essentially have vigilance.

Deadeye Navigator and any creature with and ETB effect can become oppressive.
