it's an affordable Modern power-spam deck, based on Bonescythe Sliver .

this is not a blitz deck, as the backbone of this deck is formed by ten slivers that each require four lands to play, but once you have some of those it's over.

Resurrection is in there because it's the only thing legal in Modern i could find that's white or red that returns a four mana creature from the graveyard, and while it doesn't gain me any mana or card advantage because i'll probably return a Sliver of the same cost as Resurrection , the reason i want to return a creature from the graveyard is that if i have my Bonescythe Sliver and Cleaving Sliver or Bonesplitter Sliver combo, my opponent is likely to have some creature with first strike, double strike, indestructible or enough toughness that they can use to block and kill one of my Slivers with (if not a Go for the Throat or something), and they will of course target whichever Sliver i least want to lose. so if i have only one Bonescythe Sliver they'll destroy that, but if i have two of them, they'll likely destroy a Cleaving Sliver or Bonesplitter Sliver . so i want to be able to return that creature to the battlefield. and i can't add more Bonescythe Sliver s.
